This mount and the G-Force crossmember made our installation go a lot easier, and a lot cleaner.
This mount allows probably 1.5 inches of adjustment! It saveh hours of reworking someone elses mount.
This crossmember fit perfectly. It allows for easy exhaust installation. I'll probably be ordering another, as we will be doing another similar build this summer. I recommend it.
Beyond fast after I ordered!! Excellent!

So last week I finished up my Gear Vendors Overdrive and GForce crossmember.
This went on my TH350, and 12 bolt rear with 3.08 gears with a posi unit...my driveshaft went from the stock length of 55.5" (center u-joint to center u-joint) to 41" (center U-Joint to center U-Joint)
It came out excellent and works flawlessly.
Installation note:
1) on the TH350 you will remove the stock speedometer gear and clip on the shaft
2) on the GFORCE crossmember I had to use the extra spacers to widen it fully so it would land in the stock bolt hole location on both sides (note: you will use the inner holes that the GFORCE crossmember lines up with rather than stock outer ones that the stock crossmember uses, there are two in between the stock ones)
Special note: I had to take a large crescent wrench and slightly bend down the frame at the very front on the passenger side in order to get the new crossmember up in the channel...I then just took a mallet and re-straightened and no one would be the wiser...YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE THE LIP BENT DOWN IN ONE OF THE PICTURES.
3) wiring is really simple...I ran into a issue with dancing lights between the Red and the Green and Gear Vendors sent me a new MSD control box (yes MSD makes their control boxes for them now), new wire harness, and speed sensor (which goes on the speedometer cable to send the speed signal). They didn't want to take any chances so Mike at GV sent me everything and I sent the other stuff back so they can test them and find out which was the culprit...EVERYTHING IS WORKING FLAWLESSLY! and it is awesome to.
4) my Gear Vendor OD has a deep sump so it took 1.3+ quarts to fill up completely.
5) I had to cut my H-Pipe because right in the center I had a v-band clamp and it just was too close and would tap the GV and make noise, so I cut it and put two 360* clamps and another piece of pipe temporarily, which surprisingly isn't leaking.
My plans for this is to have my exhaust shop install a v-band clamp on each side so I can remove the center section and drop either side of exhaust piping or mess with the GV if needed.
6) I went ahead and installed a new speedometer cable since mine was 54 years old...I did not know that there was so many selections...mine turned out to be 60" but purchased a 68" based on research (these come in all lengths 60", 66", 68", 100" etc. - my 68" turned out to be perfect too - Purchasedfrom Summit Racing)
7) GROUND - Ground is highly recommended to come straight from the battery (this is from talking directly with GV's
8 - on the GV solenoid and speedometer speed sensor it DOES NOT MATTER which wire goes where (just an extra bit of information.
9) on the GFORCE crossmember I also used a short polyurethane transmission mount (Energy Suspension part# 3.1158G 1.65" height, rather than the 2"+ stock height polyurethane unit)
10) I also made a small control box for my switch and Red and Green LED lights and painted it to match (see picture)
I think that is it, if I remember anything else I will add it and edit it.
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me.
Thanks,Matt
Thank you so much for your informative review. We're glad our Gear Vendors Crossmember worked for your project. We appreciate your business and hope you keep us in mind for your next project.
It was pretty easy to use. Just use the bolts and spacers that is provided in the kit. Mount the adapter to the rear of your LS block. Then you will be able to use the other holes in the adapter plate to mount to your engine stand
Thanks for the 5 stars and the helpful information!
I was sold a crossmember for an 88 Buick wagon which they later told me won’t fit. I’ve made 3 requests for returning the part and have heard nothing for over a week
Great fit easy to install
Great to hear! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the 5 star review! We appreciate your business.
Nice finish on product. Very good quality and fits perfect.
Thanks for the review. We take a lot of pride in our finish and fit quality, so it's fantastic to hear it hit the mark for you.
Ordered this mount with the hope it would fit because this vehicle has a 632 and custom exhaust. It did have a 700r4 before and I have to say this cross member went right in. We did have to change the mounting holes on the frame but everything else was good. Thank you G force for building a great product.
Thank you for the kind words and for sharing your experience! We're glad the crossmember went right in despite the custom setup with your 632 and custom exhaust. Minor frame adjustments are totally expected with unique builds, and it's great to hear everything came together. We appreciate your support and look forward to being part of more builds!
This crossmember for the 75-81 fbody for the 4L80E fit like a glove. I have a 6.0L LQ9. I highly recommend this for your fbody build. It’s a bit pricy but makes things so easy for the LS swap
Thanks for the review and the 5 Stars. It's nice to hear our Crossmember made things easier for you.
This is my second g force crossmember that I have purchased for my 1st generation Chevy s10 ls swap with ar5 transmission. The crossmember fits perfectly good welds and nice paint. Also it’s adjustable and no modifications nededed. Will definitely be purchasing more for future projects👍🏻
As for the transmission adapter plate I also highly recommend it’s cheaper and just as good as the competitors.
We love to hear from repeat customers! Thanks for the 5 stars and the great review. We appreciate your business.
1978-1983 G-Body Crossmember -TH400 with frame extension | RCG-400K
Thanks for the 5 Stars!
I'm doing a frame off for my 1970 GTO. I welded a frame brace kit into the frame and had no idea what I really needed for my new Tremec 5 speed. Talked to a rep @ G Force, told him the new distance between frame rails and he recommended the cross member for a 1970 GTO convertible. Worked out great with a little fabrication that I had to do anyway.
We happy to hear our Customer Service Crew was able to help you find the Crossmember you needed for your project. Thanks for the 5 star review!

Just what i needed for the TKX installation. AAAA ++++
A first for a quadruple A+ rating. Thanks so much!
Product did not have 1/2 npt threads but larger.
I had scoured the Internet, looking for an adapter plate bolt kit, my adapter plate was a D stroke and they would not sell me the bolt kit so I had to search elsewhere. I found GeForce’s, everything worked perfectly matched up like it was supposed to except for the one Allen wrench bolt the head was a couple millimeters too big I had to grind it down to fit into the D stroked adapter plate, which is not GeForce’s fault at all. I am very thankful that they sent me just the bolts that I needed.
Hello- thank you for the 5 star review. We're happy you were able to make our bolt kit work for your application. Please keep us in mind for future projects.
