Today I'm going to talk about a simple yet effective adapter plate. So, this is a transmission mount adapter for an 8L90 or a 10L90 transmission.
So, if you…a lot of guys are trying to put in these newer transmissions into older classic cars and they want to buy one of our G Force crossmembers, right?
Well, our crossmembers are designed to utilize a standard GM style mount, where as the 8L90s and the 10L90s have kind of a funky mounting pattern on the bottom of the transmission.
So, all this does is it bolts to your 8L90, and then it allows you to accept a standard GM style mount. And then you can use that transmission with our crossmembers.
