Hi, I'm Jordan from G Force Performance, and today we're going to be installing our polyurethane version of the transmission mount for a Pontiac G8, Chevy SS, and Chevy Caprice.
So the first step would be removing the stock crossmember, removing the mount, then installing a new one.
Okay, so we're going to start by removing the stock Crossmember.
And make sure that the transmission is held up so that it doesn't fall down.
We're going to loosen these bolts.
Okay. So now we have two more bolts to take out. Under here.
So now we're going to remove the OEM transmission mount.
Okay. Now we're going to install the new transmission mount.
All right. Now we're going to install the crossmember back.
Okay, so now we're just going to tighten down our crossmember. And then you’ll bolt it back to the car, and then put your exhaust up, and then you're all set.
