When performing a Porsche 944 LS swap, the stock vacuum booster interferes with the drivers side head/valve cover. One must convert to manual brakes, or utilize a Hydroboost booster which is much more compact and clears the valve cover. This adapter works with the BMW style hydroboost. It might be required to extend the rod to reach the brake pedal. You will need a hydraulic brake booster from a 89-ish BMW 750, 735, etc. We recommend finding one at a junk yard and getting all the parts you need at once. You will need the booster itself, which will have two hydraulic hoses coming out the top. The master cylinder is not necessary because your 944 unit will bolt right to the BMW booster. In addition to the booster, you’ll need the accumulator. The accumulator is a round ball looking thing with hydraulic lines coming from it.
