  • Fits Models: 2WD S10, S15, and Sonoma
  • Fits Years: 82-05
  • Fits Transmissions: 6L80E Slip Yoke, 6L90E Slip Yoke
  • For a proper fit with these transmissions, the GMTM Transmission Mount and GF-GMTM-SP Shims are included.
  • This crossmember is for RWD applications only.
  • Some S10 Blazers have a frame configuration that mounts on top of the frame rail for both the driver and passenger sides. The G Force crossmember is designed to bolt through the side of the passenger frame rail and will not work for the “top frame” configuration. See diagram for details.

Fits but…

The crossmember bolted into the frame but I had to buy an additional $40 spacer and stack 6 shims to get the transmission to get it to bolt in

Thank you for your purchase and review. By your description, it is difficult to determine what factor might have created the need for the additional components. We have sold a substantial amount of RCS-10-6L80 crossmembers without report of installation issue. You obviously have completed your installation with the added components, but please reach out to our tech department should you have any further questions.

Crossmember fitment

The RCS-10-6L80 crossmember fitment on my 2000 S10 fit perfect using the 6L80e trans. Had to use a spacer between the trans and trans mount but everything fit like a glove, thanks!!!!
