  • This crossmember will not fit a 73-75 EL Camino with the boxed frame rails.

  • We recommend a polyurethane transmission mount. The GMTM is sold separately.

This transmission crossmember is installed with the G Force label facing the rear of the vehicle and so that the exhaust clearance humps are closed on the top and open on the bottom.

To use the provided 7/16″ hardware it is necessary to enlarge holes in your frame rails with a 1/2″ drill. If you choose to use the stock size 3/8″ hardware, it is strongly recommended to use new Grade #8 fasteners to compensate.

200-4r dry

Recently installed 200-4r my original crossmember won’t work google found this mostly installed and instructed. Believe that the floor pan is different on 4dr sedan to a 2 door required minor modification to clear floor pan

Fit like a glove, the performance shop that is installing the dual exhaust were impressed. I’m sure they will become a customer for you. Only thing I would do differently is order the trans bolt at the same time.
