A transmission swap involves switching the transmission in your vehicle from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or factory spec transmission to an aftermarket version like the 4L60, or 700R4. Our Z32 and Z33 LS adapter kits work with any series of Vortec, LS, or LSX motors. However, there are some differences in these motors. We’ve written Using the Right Spacer Plate which outlines what you need to know to make sure you’re using the right space plate.
You will need the following parts. The G Force GF-LSZ32-Adapter Kit, the Dowel Pin Kit - GF-LSZ32-D, Pressure Plate Bolts – GF_Z32PPB-KIT, and the Bolt Kit for the Flywheel GF-LSFB-SET. Unfortunately, we don’t offer the motor mounts or transmission crossmember you need.
The flywheel supplied in the Z32 kit is not SFI approved. However, G Force does offer SFI approved Flywheels for other projects. See all of our Flywheels here.
